The school gets its name from Late Mariam Adhami, mother of Late Professor Usman Adhami who played vital role in teaching and administration in Aligarh Muslim University and Late Mrs. Saeeda Faiz who was a renowned educationist and social worker. After giving services as Principal in different Govt. Intermediate colleges of UP, she started Shah Faiz Public School in Ghazipur in 1985. Now, the school is one of the best CBSE schools in Purvanchal and provides holistic education to around 3000 students.

Mother Mariam was concerned about educating the children, specially girls in the family which was quite opposite to the ideologies possessed by people born in India before independence. Her husband, Late Suleman Adhami was a staunch freedom fighter and an MLA from Birdpur, Dist. Siddharthnagar for 3 consecutive terms. He also served Ratan Sen Intermediate College of Bansi as Manager.

Having established a school of repute in Ghazipur district, Mother Mariam Global School is an attempt by the founders to further this cause and strive for the upliftment of rural children by educating them. Saeeda Faiz Memorial Trust has come into existence to achieve these objectives through this School.
